Hyperlink Accuracy and Review Procedure
The Office of the Charity Commissioner, Maharashtra State, Mumbai follows a defined procedure for checking hyperlinks available on the website.
Hyperlinks are reviewed periodically or whenever required to verify that they are working, relevant and directing users to the intended website or portal.
During the review, external links are identified as links to Government websites/portals or non-Government/external websites/portals, as applicable.
Links that are found to be broken, unavailable or no longer relevant are corrected, updated or removed by authorised personnel, as appropriate.
Links to authorised external websites and payment portals may be retained where they are required for providing information, services or payment facilities to users.
Records of hyperlink review and corrective action are maintained wherever applicable.
